Effective business banking is delivered when banks can combine a high level of relationship management from bankers that understand small to medium enterprise and have a high standard of product knowledge and ability to deliver consistently day in day out.
Twelve awards in total were handed out to worthy recipients in the business banking sector, with Westpac and Commonwealth bank receiving four awards each. Accepting the prestigious AB+F business bank of the year award, was Gregor Randl, General Manger SME Banking at Westpac.
Publisher of AB+F Andrew Stabback commented “There has been a genuine investment and improvement in performance in the Business banking segment by all the banks in Australia over the last two years. The result is a significant improvement in how the SME sector is being supported in both products and most importantly relationship management overall. Both Westpac and CBA have enjoyed the most improvement in growth in this sector and are now enjoying the dividend in both improving customer satisfaction and increasing revenues.
